Козлов Вильям Федорович

Вильям Федорович Козлов родился 3 ноября 1929 года в г. Бологое Калининской области. В 1935 году был усыновлен вместе с сестрой Тамарой путевым мастером Козловым Феодосием Константиновичем, который заменил им родного отца. С одиннадцати лет начал свою трудовую деятельность, сменил много профессий. Был колхозником в Горьковской области, учеником столяра. Во время Великой Отечественной войны мальчишкой работал на прифронтовом аэродроме в деревне Градобицы Бологовского района. Учился в железнодорожном техникуме в городе Великие Луки, куда вернулся незадолго до окончания войны, восстанавливал разрушенный фашистами город, работал в архитектурном управлении, радиомастерской, областном драматическом театре. Стал сначала корреспондентом областной газеты «Великолукская правда», затем литературным сотрудником.

С газетной работы началась его литературная деятельность. Первый рассказ «Сын» был опубликован в газете «Великолукская правда» и получил на конкурсе премию.

В 1950 году поступил в Харьковское авиационное училище связи. В 1954 году учился на филфаке пединститута. В 1955 году послан на учебу в Ленинград, где закончил Высшую партийную школу и отделение журналистики. После окончания учебы был приглашен в газету «Вечерний Ленинград», где печатал статьи, очерки, фельетоны, рассказы. Публиковался в журналах: «Искорка», «Костер», «Нева», «Пионер», «Смена», «Огонек», «Молодая гвардия», альманахах и сборниках. В 1960 году в «Детгизе» вышла первая книжка «Валерка – председатель». С 1963 года - член Союза писателей СССР. Членом Союза журналистов СССР он становится будучи студентом факультета журналистики, в год образования этого Союза.

За период перестройки он написал несколько больших романов. Это романы «Карусель», «Поцелуй Сатаны», «Черные ангелы в белых одеждах», «Дети ада», «Потерянный век». Среди самых известных произведений В. Козлова «Президент Каменного острова», «Президент не уходит в отставку», «Юрка Гусь», «Я спешу за счастьем», «Приходи в воскресенье», «Андреевский кавалер», «Волосы Вероники», «Потерянный век».

Академик Ю. К. Бегунов в предисловии к одному из романов назвал Вильяма Козлова летописцем нашей эпохи. Причем, единственным в России, ярко и образно показавшем, что на самом деле происходит в стране со всеми нами.

В 1992 году Санкт-Петербургская Петровская академия наук и искусств за талантливые произведения единогласно избрала Вильяма Федоровича Козлова академиком с вручением пожизненного диплома. А в 1994 году он удостоился звания академика в Международной Славянской академии.

Кембриджским биографическим центром Вильям Козлов был выдвинут за 1997-1998 г. на Международный конкурс «200 выдающихся писателей Мира». И стал лауреатом с присвоением диплома и медали. Сведения о В. Ф. Козлове включены в Международный энциклопедический справочник «Кто есть кто?».

Скончался Вильям Федорович 13 апреля 2009 года в Санкт-Петербурге. Похоронен в г. Великие Луки.

In 1936, he was adopted by his stepfather Kozlov Fyodor Konstantinovich. He lived in the city of Velikie Luki, where he graduated from high school and two courses of the Pedagogical Institute.

During the Patriotic War, as a boy, he worked at the frontline airfield in the village of Gradobitsy. He has been bombed many times.

In 1942, at the Kuzhenkino station, he organized an amateur art activity in the village club and performed in front of the Red Army soldiers.

At the age of eleven, he already started working, changed many professions: he was a collective farmer in the Gorky region, a carpenter's apprentice, studied at the railway college in the city of Velikie Luki, to which he returned shortly before the end of the war, worked in the Architectural Department, radio workshop, regional drama theater, first became a photojournalist for the regional newspaper Velikiye Luki Pravda, and then a literary employee. In the editorial team, he gained his first experience in the literary field, got a diploma from the Leningrad Higher Party School, became a member of the Union of Journalists.

The literary activity of William Fedorovich Kozlov began with his work in the newspaper. His first story “Son” was published in the newspaper “Velikolukskaya Pravda".

In 1922, the St. Petersburg Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts unanimously elected William Fedorovich Kozlov as an academician with the award of a lifetime diploma for his talented works. And in 1994 he was awarded the title of academician at the International Slavic Academy.

William Kozlov was nominated by the Cambridge Biographical Center for 1997-1998 for the International Competition “200 outstanding Writers of the World” and became a laureate with a diploma and a medal.
